I'm Justin Rankin - a Digital Experience Design leader with extensive experience in project and account leadership, strategy, creative, branding, UX and web development.
I posses a rare combination of analytical and business-savvy left-brain thinking, and creative, artistic, and entrepreneurial right-brain thinking, which gives me an edge in understanding projects on a very technical level, but also communicating strategically with clients and internal project teams.

Non-Digital Experience
Aside from extensive digital experience, I also have a background in real estate design and development. Over the years, I've successfully helped design and manage both commercial and residential real estate projects - from multi-million dollar executive office space to high-end private residences, a state-of-the-art sports training facility and even 3 flip properties of my own. I have valuable experience working with architects, interior designers, land planners, engineers and various other trades that make these projects possible.
I am currently a partner and the creative lead on a new, Austin-based golf training facility that will soon set a new bar in a very competitive space. In addition to working with the developers, I am also working closely with creative consultants and architects to ensure the brand is carried out successfully in the interior/exterior design, as well as the overall customer experience.
When I'm not in the Office
I have many interests and passions outside the office, including surfing, wake surfing, boating, photography, wood working and clothing design. When I'm not in Austin, I love to travel to off-the-beaten-path, tropical destinations around the world with my wife Katy and little boy, Luke. Our most memorable trip to-date was a 15-day trek across the Pacific Ocean, starting in Hawaii, and stopping at 7 remote islands along the way - ending up in Japan and then making our way home. My biggest travel milestone, however, was a 3-year experience Katy and I had living in a small beach town, named Sayulita, on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Many people dream of quitting their job, packing up and moving somewhere incredible to just "enjoy life." We were those people for many years but then we did it, and it was everything we hoped it would be and way more. We still stay in touch with all our friends we made down there and travel back often to visit - it will always be a special place for us.
